Someone sent you a Kismet link because your crew is letting fate decide something — and your pick belongs in the pool. Here’s how it works when you don’t have the app (and why you don’t need it).

Joining takes ten seconds

Tap the link. You’ll see the plan: what’s being decided, who’s in, and the countdown to the lock. Enter your name and phone number — that’s the entire form. You’re not creating an account, there’s no password, and if you ever do sign up with that number, your history comes with you.

You’re a full participant

• Submit a hidden pick shaped to the activity — search real restaurants, browse movie posters, or type your idea. Your pick is as invisible as everyone else’s, and you can edit it until the lock.
• Watch the same reveal. Keep the page open at draw time and the answer surfaces live, in sync with every phone in the crew — ball, glow, confetti, all of it.
• Accept your fate right in the browser, and grab the calendar file so the plan lands in your week.

One text. Optional. Ever.

Want the result even if the tab is closed? Check “Text me when fate decides.” We verify your number with a quick 6-digit code, then send exactly one message — the result — when the draw lands. No reminders, no marketing, nothing else, ever. Uncheck it any time.

Coming back

Your personal link is your key — open it on any device and you’re back in your activity: your pick, the countdown, the reveal. New phone? Re-enter your number on the activity page and resume.

The house rules protect you too

Nobody — not even the person who invited you — can see your pick before the draw. The draw itself runs on the server, once, with the seed and result stored. Guests get the same fairness as everyone with the app, because the fairness lives on the server, not in the app.
